Dynasty Market Report — August 31, 2026
The Lede
Roster cutdown day is the real dynasty stock market, and today's biggest tremor is the Josh Jacobs situation in Green Bay. Jacobs craters to DME 2,418 after an -18.7% slide, and the direct beneficiary — MarShawn Lloyd at DME 2,240, up +27.78% — tells you exactly what the market believes about the Packers' backfield hierarchy heading into Week 1. This isn't noise; it's a structural re-pricing.
Who's Rising
Lloyd's surge to DME 2,240 is the most credible move on the board today — if Jacobs is banged up, limited, or being managed, Lloyd just became a volume RB on a Jordan Love offense, and that's a profile worth paying up for. Kaleb Johnson's +29.82% spike to DME 1,772 in Pittsburgh is the other standout; with Drew Allar sliding hard (more on that below), the Steelers' offensive identity may be shifting toward a ground-heavy approach that benefits Johnson directly. The Hyatt (+74.12% to DME 1,090) and Whittington (+73.7% to DME 1,169) pops look like classic cutdown-day role-clarification bounces — both are buy/hold at current value if confirmed as clear depth-chart risers, but don't overpay chasing the spike.
Who's Falling
Allar's -19.08% drop to DME 2,040 is the most alarming faller given Pittsburgh's QB uncertainty, and in Superflex that's a significant dead asset if he's losing the starting job. Jacobs at DME 2,418 is the trickier call — the decline is real, but if this is injury-related and short-term, there's a buy-low window forming. Jaydon Blue's -19.16% slide to DME 1,190 in Dallas deserves monitoring; that's a crowded backfield and a redzone role that never fully materialized.
The Move
Sell Drew Allar today. At DME 2,040, you're still extracting meaningful Superflex QB premium, but that number is heading lower if Pittsburgh's offensive staff continues signaling away from him. Package Allar with a mid pick and angle for MarShawn Lloyd — the Jacobs situation makes Lloyd a genuine every-week asset, and his DME 2,240 has room to run.
